Bradtec Decon Technologies Ltd, is a UK company that specialises in decontamination and recycling of radioactive waste. The company has been operating for twenty years and is responsible for a number of initiatives in the nuclear industry relating to nuclear waste minimisation and recycling, It specialises particularly in development of chemical decontamination technology and finding ways to achieve recycle of waste nuclear materials for conversion to new products for use within the nuclear industry. The company has extensive experience with irradiated graphite topics. It has, for example, undertaken four programmes of work as a contractor to EPRI (Electric Power Research Institute) on irradiated graphite topics, including a comprehensive study of alternative management options for irradiated graphite waste.
